In a battle of unbeaten teams, EZ1 (3-0) prevailed in a thrilling 81-78 overtime win. EZ1 jumped out to a dominating 22 point halftime lead with overall team play on both sides of the ball but Team OTF'S dynamic duo of Antonio Scott (Bellport) and Jaquan Potter (Bellport) got hot from three and rallied there squad to a great second half comeback to force overtime. In overtime, Quan Thomas (Coram) took over the game scoring 7 of his 11 points as he also grabbed 7 rebounds for the game. Stevie Dennis (Bellport) led EZ1 with another solid all around game with 18 points 5 rebounds 5 assists and 3 blocks and Dan Shaw (Central Islip) added another double double with 14 points 12 rebounds. OTF (2-1) were led by MVP candidate Antonio Scott came into the game leading the league in scoring averaging 28 points and he got just that amount. By halftime. Tone scorched every defender put in front of him on his way to a new league high 48 points hitting another league high 10 threes and had the crowd going with each and every one of them.
