Scott Gets Hot Sparks OTF Over REZ In Opener

On the opening night of the AABBL, Team OTF beat Team REZ 78-63 in an exciting game with a great pace and a ton of highlights. Antonio Scott (Bellport) led the way for OTF with 32 points 7 rebounds and 3 assists but shot just 9-25 from the field. Down 20 in the second half, Team REZ battled back and cut the lead to 6 before Scott got hot and hit 3 consecutive threes to stretch the lead back to 20 and seal the victory. Jaquan Potter (Bellport) added 24 points 6 rebounds and 5 assists on 7-23 shooting. Lorenzo Trent (Riverhead) chipped in with 9 points 12 rebounds and an impressive 7 steals and 2 highlight dunks to go along with it. Steven Edwards (Center Moriches) led REZ with 15 points 9 rebounds and Alex Dekenipp (Mastic) added 14 points and 7 rebounds.
